Ok, so this year I didn't make any resolutions, nor felt the need to. But let's make a run down of how I started this year:
I started the year as a brony, a fan of My Little Pony, something I honestly didn't really predict I was going to become. I never hated the show or anything, but I never care too much about it. My friends liked it, I found it ironically funny in a non offensive way, and that was about it. Then, after a little breakdown I had a while ago, I started watching it. Mostly because I needed something sweet and happy to sweeten my not-so-sweet-back-then life. And oh boy was it the right show. Cheered me right up, and not only that but revived some of the most happy times in my life. The ones where I was a kid without a worry in the world, watching Cartoon Network in awesomely lonely summer afternoons.
Needless to say, I watched all the Powerpuff Girls episodes right when I finished with MLP.
So back on my feet thanks to them ponies, I also started finally with Two Stories, my baby. I am very proud of it, even if there's still a lot to do, and heck I've been procrastinating (although it is true that it takes time, and sometimes I just don't have it) on it, I am still very fond of the work I'm putting in it. And I hope it will become a story that people will enjoy to read, that people will feel emotions while reading, that they will feel identified with the characters, that they will laugh and that they will cry. It's a long way to go, but it's a worth it one. With Al and Su by my side, this is going to be awesome
New friends, I also started the year with plenty of new friends. I honestly didn't expect that either. I found myself, ironically once again after so much time, not having an easy time making new acquaintances. Wether if it was because I didn't know how to start conversations myself, in the case of people I wanted to befriend (like, me being the first one to approach), or if simply I couldn't come up with any excuse to keep the conversation alive and not wanting to push it in fear of being annoying. But nevertheless I got pretty much dragged into multiconvos, especially on skype, and now every time I get on, there's someone new to meet. They are mostly bronies, and we honestly don't have that much in common, but it's quite alright, because neither I nor them really care. Instead we have our laughs and shenanigans and have a great time. S'always nice Plus they seem to always be there when someone is upset and whatnot, and in my eyes, that makes them good fellas :3
I also met a couple of new friends in dA, honesty I am not a very active dA member in its community, but the few people I met here have become some of my most awesome friends. Like Erika, who may or may not read this, but she knows she's awesome and Mr Timn send his regards.
So suming up, yay for new friends in the new year.
On the negative side though, money is getting tighter, my grandpa gave me a lot, but I made my accountancy and it's gonna be a little hard to keep on going. I need to start earning some more. I'll start commissions as soon as I can put all my projects under control, sadly I'm not the organized type, and schedules and timetables escape my control. But I will pull it off, hell if I will!
I also lost a good friend, she got mad at me and hasn't speak to me ever since, so I guess her decision is final. It's fine honestly, we gotta stand up for what we believe, and she did it and I gotta admire and respect that. Since so did I. I wish that everything will be awesome for her, and so long good bye!
So basically next goals are:
*Two Stories
-> Get to at least Zirra's Arc before the end of the year
* Earn money for this summer's BronyCon
-> Commissions and varied stuff
-> Youtube
-> Two Stories, if viable
* Start an ask Scootaloo blog, because she deserves sum wub
* Continue improving my art! 8D

Let's go!
So, hello again!
First of, wow, so many new peeps watching me! I assume you all came straight from EQD, since the mini-comic for my blog got featured there, SO HIIII.
Name's Al, and I draw stuff, mostly pony stuff these days, so yeh, nice to meet you all!
Honestly, there's not much to this one, I run the blog Scootaloo the Adventurer and the youtube channel AlSkylark. I have a buttload of projects on development, from webseries to opening a small store with my girlfriend .SkyVixie (https://www.deviantart.com/skyvixie)
I am currently open for commissions (I have yet to upload the commission list-thing here though) and you can support me on Patreon as well!
Annnd I think that's all fo
I should probably update this
For those of you who only follow me on here, I'M STILL ALIVE!
I just haven't been using this a whole lot. I'm mostly on my tumblr, which you can find right here.
Buuuut I probably should update my gallery with all my pony stuff. Since I haven't done anything else orz
So yeh, hi, how have you been?
My big struggle with commissions.
Commissions have always scared me.
They are, in my eyes, a big deal. I know many artists, and so called artists, don't really make that of a big deal out of them and they sell their art with ease, and even go as far as to overprice pieces that honestly shouldn't be.
Well, not me. When I think of commissions I think of an actual business contract, which in itself is a serious thing. That always makes me think: I'm just not worth it.
Sometimes I get all pumped and high motivated, and go ahead and say that I will open commissions, just to be faced with the truth that I've put there for myself. The truth that I'm not good enough to be selling
I should Update I guess
As I finish the last details of the cover for chapter 8 of Two Stories I felt it was a good moment to update this journal a bit.
So first, to say that my stance stated in the last journal hasn't changed a bit. The interaction with the brony community has been quite low, and in fact I've only met spanish bronies (or rather, I've been dragged to them?) who are pretty great all things considered. I'm saying this, because one of my newests projects (or rather, old one that I'm thinking now's a good time to do) is going to be an ask-pony-tumblr type. Since the beginning I've wanted to do something the like with one of my little favorites, Scootal
